| Do First Premier
Credit Cards offer cash advances?
The First Premier
cards can be used for cash advances. Your initial cash advance
line will be 10% of your assigned credit line. Once your account
has been open and active for a minimum of 90 days, has two consecutive
months of current payment history and no return payments for 60
days, your cash advance availability may be increased to 50% of
the assigned credit line. If your initial credit line is $250,
your beginning cash advance line will be $25 and may increase
to $125 once the criteria above is met.
How often are credit limit increases given and how do
I get an increase with a First Premier Bank Card?
With First Premier you will be eligible for consideration of
a credit limit increase review after 6 months. Their credit decisions
are based upon a credit scoring system, which considers, but is
not limited to: your payment history (including making your payments
on time and making payments larger than the minimum due), overlimit
history, the amount of cash advances used, and the number of payments
returned to us as unpaid.
What is the credit limit for the First Premier Card and
how is the credit limit determined?
For the First Premier UNSECURED card: Your initial credit limit
will be at least $250 and the following fees will be billed to
your first statement: Annual Fee of $48, Program Fee of $95, Account
Set Up Fee of $29, monthly Participation Fee of $6, and an Additional
Card Fee of $20 (if applicable). These fees will reduce your available
credit until they are paid. We review your credit bureau history
and this information determines your credit limit.
For the First Premier SECURED card: You will be issued a credit
limit equal to your security deposit account of at least $200,
up to a maximum of $5,000. Once your account is approved, you
will be reviewed for periodic credit limit increases.
